Bid #2023-00328 Stormwater Design and Engineering Services for Stormwater Drainage Systems for the City of Calhoun with the Use of (ARPA Funds) The American Rescue Plan Act

The City of Calhoun, Georgia is soliciting competitive sealed bids for storm water design and qualified Engineering Services required to construct and Repair Stormwater Drainage Systems and related infrastructure, including pipe of various sizes and materials, catch basins, detention ponds, green infrastructure, headwalls, curb and road restoration, erosion controls, seeding/sodding, rip rap, etc., with related tie-ins and appurtenances. This construction will take multiple phases to address stormwater issues affecting primary the Hillhouse Drive area and at ten (10) locations within the city. A comprehensive design for the drainage basin is desired, with an estimate of probable construction cost with an ability for the city to determine the scope of the first phase of construction. “The project is not intended to alter or change aspects of the existing Georgia Department of Transportation stormwater infrastructure, such as infrastructure located on State Route Highway 53 Spur, State Route Highway 136, or State Route Highway 156.”
