Registration for Swimming Lessons Our swimming lessons are scheduled for June 17-22 (Session 1) and June 24-29 (Session 2) this summer. The cost is $35 per session, and registrants must be at least 5 years old by June 1, 2013. To download our registration form, Click here. Forms and registration fee can be dropped off at the Recreation Dept during our normal business hours.
10 and Under Tennis Workshop AnnouncedSequoyah Tennis Association is partnering with the USTA to host their first annual 10 and Under Tennis Workshop Sunday, May 26 from 1-5 PM at the Calhoun Tennis Center. See the flyer for more details!

Registration for Blue Barracudas Begins April 1
Registration for the Calhoun Blue Barracudas Swim Team will begin April 1st and run through May 28th at the Calhoun Recreation Department.
Early Registrants will have the opportunity this year to participate in an afternoon Swim Camp weekdays May 13th – 24th as weather permits.
A Pre-Season District Swim Olympics will be held on Saturday June 1, 2013.
Registration cost for the season is $90.00
Last season was a big year for the Calhoun Blue Barracudas. The team won First Place in its Division of the Chattanooga Area Swim League “CASL” and won a record 7 State titles at the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association swim meet in Tifton Georgia. The team also celebrated its first Junior National Swimmer and its first alumnus to compete in the US Olympic Trials – Alex Coville, who finished as first alternate in the 50 freestyle. This year promises to be the most competitive yet!
