The City of Calhoun is now accepting applications for a Terminal Operator in the Police Department.

Qualifications are: high school diploma or equivalent; valid Georgia driver’s license; no felony arrest record; office skills are a must; bilingual a plus; must have excellent communication and customer service skills. 

Duties include, but are not limited to, answering multiple phone lines and monitoring radio traffic, as well as communicating with police officers, other law enforcement agencies, and the public. Monitoring and maintaining criminal justice information within GCIC, such as running background checks, driver’s histories, driver’s licenses, and vehicle tags. Maintaining organized, secure, and confidential records of all GCIC/NCIC-related data.
