The City of Calhoun is now accepting applications for a part-time events and marketing coordinator.
Responsibilities include administrative support work such as coordinating and assisting with the planning, implementation and evaluation of special events while under direct supervision of the DDA Director. Must attend Downtown Development Authority and Historic Preservation Commission meetings, take minutes and assist DDA Director with customer service and answering phone calls.
Must have the ability to prepare and develop social media content, as well as monitor, post and analyze social media channels to enhance Downtown Calhounās brand.
Must be energetic, imaginative and well organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
